My Journey
My journey of self-discovery and creativity has taken many forms. From capturing moments through photography as a teenager, to expressing emotions through music as a DJ and producer, and finally, to finding solace and depth in painting. For over 9 years, music production and DJing have been a significant part of my life. I have worked professionally under the names VELDA and Varma Ljud, composing music on demand for Epidemic Sound in various genres such as electronic, house, acid, techno, and ambient. Additionally, on my personal site, I explore personal artistic expressions under the name Vicky Zissou. The name Vicky Zissou was created when I initially started DJing, and it has stayed with me over the years, representing and expressing my creative side.

Paintings
My painting journey began in childhood, receiving an easel as a birthday gift. I vividly recall experimenting with burned matches, creating variations of the same painting, captivated by the unique style it produced.
In early 2022, I felt a resurgence of my passion for painting when an acrylic art course kept appearing on my Instagram feed. Feeling drawn to it, I decided to take the course, which opened new doors for me and reignited my creative spark. Since then, I've embraced Acrylic on Canvas, experimenting with different styles and finding joy in the unpredictable magic that happens on the canvas.
Photography
My journey into photography began when I received a digital camera for my 14th birthday. With it, I started exploring the world through the lens, capturing moments and perspectives that fascinated me. Later, I experimented with my dad's analog DDR camera, which added a nostalgic and unique dimension to my work. These experiences fueled my passion for photography, allowing me to see and share the beauty of the world from different angles.
